Information handled

• Study data: answers, accuracy, lesson completion, flashcard activity, goals, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Subscription data: Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product and entitlement status, transaction or receipt identifiers, device/platform and app version, country, IP address, and service logs needed to sell, validate, restore, and prevent fraud.
• Campaign measurement: Singular may process install-referrer data, device and app information, IP address, pseudonymous device identifiers, and paid-subscription event details such as product, price, currency, and transaction identifier. When enabled in the app, advertising identifiers may also be used. Attributed install and paid-subscription postbacks may be sent to the advertising partner that ran the campaign.
• Usage analytics: Google Firebase Analytics records app events such as screens viewed, onboarding steps, practice and mock-test completions and scores, and subscription-screen actions, together with an app-instance identifier, device and app information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. It never receives the text of your answers. You can turn usage analytics off at any time in Profile → Usage analytics.
• Support: if you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send.

We do not display third-party ads, sell personal information, store payment-card details, send study answers to advertising partners, or ask for passport, visa, or immigration records. Campaign measurement can be limited during onboarding or later in Profile. Do not include passport, visa, or immigration documents in support messages.

Why and where processing occurs

Local study data supports the app features you request. Purchase processing is necessary to provide Premium and is also used for security and legal compliance. Usage analytics help us understand which lessons and questions work, and where people get stuck, so we can improve the app. Campaign measurement helps us understand which promotions result in installs and paid subscriptions. Apple, Google (including Firebase), RevenueCat, Singular, and an attributed advertising partner may process data in countries outside yours under their own safeguards and policies.

Sharing

We share information only with providers needed to operate subscriptions, campaign measurement, and support, when required by law, or in a business reorganization with appropriate protections. Key providers are Apple, Google Play, Google (Firebase Analytics), RevenueCat, Singular, and—only for attributed campaigns—the advertising partner that ran the campaign.

Retention and deletion

Local progress remains until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their legal and operational requirements. Support email is kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection by emailing us. Purchase and tax records may need to be retained.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is risk-free. The app is intended for adults preparing for the Life in the UK Test and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when material revisions are published.
